"VÉRTIGO"

Yesterday was the perfect summer day for a casual yet chic look. I was dying to wear this Malibu tee, but couldn't quite pick out the perfect bottom to pair it with. I usually do tees with ripped jeans, but I decided to try something different. I chose this pleated, light greyish- blue skirt to go with it. The flatform shoes also felt like a perfect pair for this outfit. As a final touch, this yellow Rebecca Minkoff messenger bag that I got from Olivia Boutique, as well as the rest of this outfit. I know I've said it a million times, but I can't stress enough on how shoes, purses, and accessories can ultimately make or break an outfit, so choose wisely!

Now, let's talk about this A-MA-ZING hand-painted mural that served as my backdrop. It is called "Vertigo" and it is by Puerto Rican female artist Patricia Esperanza. She is one of the official artists for "Santurce Es Ley", an anual independent artists event here in Puerto Rico that has been growing year after year. Starting today, and going on throughout the entirety of the weekend, you can attend the grand reveal in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Each mural has it's own uniqueness, while at the same time contributing  to the greater culture and community of the area and the artists that are making it happen! So, if you're from here, or happen to be in the area, come and be a part of the madness!
